When selecting a Kawasaki General Purpose Engine, it is important to maintain the equipment manufacturer’s
specifications (e.g.: starter position, fuel tank location, fuel line routing, evaporative systems, air filter type and
location, wire harness routing, muffler location, exhaust direction, and muffler accessories, including but not limited
to a deflector spark arrester, low and high engine speed settings, etc.). Install all guards, shields, and safety devices as
required by equipment manufacturer. In the dealer agreement with Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., dealer has agreed
to defend and indemnify Kawasaki for any liabilities arising from dealer’s “acts or omissions.” “Acts or omissions”
include installation of accessories such as the wiring harness accessory. Therefore, dealer is responsible for defending
and indemnifying Kawasaki under the terms of the dealer agreement for any costs associated with any and all claims
based upon the improper installation of this harness by dealer, and all resulting damages to the customer’s property
including but not limited to chassis failure. Kawasaki is responsible only for remedying defects in factory-installed
engine parts during the warranty period, and not for damages resulting from improper installation, by dealer or any
other party, or use of parts and/or accessories that do not conform to Kawasaki’s specifications. All engine replacements
noted are subject to substitution, modification, or withdrawal at the sole discretion of Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A.
